It’s a Better Experience With the Family Atmosphere Here
One of the first things that you’ll notice when you come to Farah & Farah is the family atmosphere. Other organizations may say they are a family, but here, you really feel that throughout all of our offices. Every member of the team is friendly and supportive, our facilities are top-notch, and we ensure that we provide everyone with the necessary tools to perform their jobs well. That all leads to a great experience for both attorneys and staff, but more importantly, also for our clients.
Practicing in Different Practice Areas and Law Firms Has Made Me a Better Attorney
I’ve been barred for several decades now, and I’m still excited about coming to work each day. Serving clients well here in Atlanta is how our firm will continue to grow, and I greatly look forward to being a part of that for years to come. Before joining Farah & Farah, I worked in a firm that I founded and successfully ran for many years. We worked extensively in consumer law, where we helped protect people facing the threat of bankruptcy, repossession of their assets, and other consumer issues, including lemon law. Those types of cases are some of the darkest times for anyone, and I find that there are many parallels between that and personal injury law.
At Farah & Farah in Atlanta, I have the opportunity to utilize all the legal skills I’ve honed over the years to help injured individuals and their families recover after an accident. With my experience, I assist in handling some of the most complex and high-stakes litigation cases our clients may encounter.
I Help Make Bad Situations Better
In every case I undertake, I work to use my skills as a lawyer to help improve people’s lives. Minimizing a bad situation and turning it into something positive is something I excel at. To accomplish this, I start by listening to my clients. I need to understand the problem and how it affects my client’s lives.
From there, I help calm people down and encourage them to trust me to advocate for them. I believe that all the time I spent helping people facing repossessions, foreclosures, and abusive debt collectors has prepared me well to walk alongside clients facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives — and to help them emerge on the other side in a better place.
Taking on the Tough Cases
Having spent a significant amount of time in personal injury law, I have seen my share of difficult, complex, and downright heartbreaking cases. These cases demonstrate just how personal, raw, and real being an accident attorney can be, as well as the critical role we play for victims and their families.
One case I’ll never forget involved a sheriff’s deputy who was hit head-on by a young driver who had dropped their cell phone and reached down to pick it up. As he did so, he veered into oncoming traffic and struck and killed the deputy. The officer’s family was in Arkansas, so I went out to them, met with them, and even had dinner with them. This family had everything ripped out from under them, and sometimes, as their attorney, you just need to be there. It was so gratifying to secure a substantial settlement for this family, bringing some measure of closure to their ordeal.
Downtime Is Important Too
In my time away from the office, I love airplanes and motorcycles. I’m a licensed commercial pilot with experience in airline, charter, and flight school operations. I’m also almost always involved in a project around my house. If I have some extra time, you can probably find me at the glider port, where I fly and maintain gliders, or at the dog park. Many weekends, you can find me motorcycling in the mountains of northern Georgia and western North Carolina.
