Meet Brianna Lucas
Brianna Lucas is a personal injury attorney in Savannah and specializes in auto accidents and premises liability cases, like slips, trips, and falls. As one of only a handful of hybrid litigation attorneys, Brianna can handle an accident case all the way from intake through taking the insurance company or big business to court when that’s what it takes to win for her client.
Brianna actually started off defending insurance companies before moving into a local firm that practiced many aspects of the law and finally coming onboard at Farah and Farah. Being so well-rounded makes Brianna that much more knowledgeable of the total picture, making her an absolute force to be reckoned with when she goes toe-to-toe with the giants—and wins.
In Firms This Big You Don’t Usually Talk to the Founders, But We Do
One of the things that stood out to me right up front when I came onboard Farah and Farah was how open and accessible Chuck and Eddie Farah really are. I know from experience that the founders and higher level attorneys within larger firms aren’t usually all that accessible to individual attorneys. But that’s just not how they do things here. I met directly with Chuck when I was interviewed, asked way too many questions, and he was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and present throughout the process.
I know 100% if I ever have any sort of issues or questions that the two highest members of this firm have an open door policy that I can utilize at any time. You just don’t get this level of support from the highest level anywhere else and it directly translates into a better experience and better results for our clients.
More than a Decade of Experience in Litigation Means I Know This Job
I started my career defending insurance companies down in Miami. It was a great experience but I knew very quickly it was not something I wanted to dedicate my life to. I’m from Georgia so moved back up here to start working with a local firm that really did it all—probate law, criminal law, juvenile, family, personal injury— and it really exposed me to a great deal. But my passion really lies with helping people, especially those who have been hurt in an accident. While I still do help with some probate law matters on my time off, my work now centers almost exclusively around personal injury law.
After more than a decade of doing litigation work on both sides, I’m really familiar with how the other side is going to react and respond throughout the process. This allows me to map out the most effective path forward for my clients and to respond to any hurdles that present themselves along the way.
I Have Had that Helpless Feeling of Lying in a Hospital Bed
Part of my reason for wanting to help injured people is that I’ve been one. I had three different surgeries that left me in a hospital bed for 18 days. Lying there helpless is an incredibly low and sinking feeling. Through no fault of your own, you find that you can’t do much of anything for yourself, that you are totally reliant on others. Until you’ve been in a position like this, you don’t really get it.
Now, I get to dedicate my career to helping people in some truly terrible situations. I take the time to listen to my clients, to understand exactly what they are going through, and help them see that there can be a light at the end of the tunnel. Together, we formulate the most effective strategy to get the best possible compensation for everything they have endured.
Being Barred in Two States Means I Can Help More Accident Victims
I have been admitted to the State Bars for both Florida and Georgia, so even though I work out of our Savannah office, I can actually help accident victims across both states. I find this really helps in my ability to apply all of my experience in helping more people get exactly what they deserve after an accident.
I am an absolute ESPN junkie so when I’m not in the office, there’s a good chance you’ll find me watching sports in some form. My favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, the UGA Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Hawks. I’m also incredibly partial to the breathtaking beauty that Savannah has to offer and love going out with my husband and little girl to areas like downtown and River Street every chance I get.
