At Farah and Farah, Everyone Has Something to Bring to the Table

My experience with this firm has been nothing short of excellent. Every single attorney we have here is absolutely top notch. What’s more, everyone has something different to bring to the table and there is always someone there who is willing to help or even just to bounce ideas off of. When you’re surrounded by so many talented individuals, it makes your work product better.

For Farah and Farah, this translates into better results for our clients. I love that Eddie and Chuck Farah are right here in our Jacksonville office. I see them in the hallway every day and know I can always count on them for any question or support I need.

I Turn “No Case” Into a Great Case

Something I’m really good at is problem solving. Hands down, I find solutions that work. In personal injury law, I’ve seen so many times where a case is not clear cut and other firms may have shied away from what they see as a tougher case. In these situations, I excel. In this field, you have to be skilled at looking over an insurance policy and I have seen times where the client has policy limits for an accident and the insurance company tries to say they don’t have any coverage. When there’s coverage, you have a contract that spells out how much you get. I hold the insurance company to these limits and go after every penny you deserve.

One case I’ll never forget was where I had a client who was hit by someone who didn’t have any insurance. Luckily, my client had what’s called Uninsured Motorist (UM) coverage but her own insurance company was trying to argue that she didn’t. They wouldn’t send any documents supporting their position and even stopped communicating. That lack of communication is such a hassle and a slap in the face of a policyholder who’s paid for that coverage.

Together, we started the process of suing her auto insurance company. I prepared this client for her deposition and did very well just telling her story. It was after this deposition that the opposing counsel saw we already had a solid case and agreed to pay my client her policy’s full limits. Had my client just taken her insurance company’s word for it, she wouldn’t have gotten a dime. Instead, we got her a great settlement for everything she went through.

Negotiating For Top Dollar is What I Do Best

With a car accident or premises liability case, it’s often my client versus a multi-billion dollar insurance corporation. My clients need someone who is skilled and tenacious enough to help them navigate through the hardest part of their lives. I have a good rapport with my clients and people in general I think in part because I was born and raised right here in Jacksonville. There’s a reason we’re called the “biggest small town in America” and there’s something to say for wanting to genuinely do good in your community.

When I first passed the bar, I spent time volunteering with the Public Defender’s Office and clerked for The Honorable Judge Pauline Drake. During those experiences, I helped a lot of underserved individuals from every walk of life. My collective experience makes it easier to do my job of securing the best possible outcome for my clients. After so many years of practicing personal injury law, I know a lot of smart plays we can make even down to timing the call to the insurance adjuster to get them when they’re more likely to answer the phone and work with me.

Communication is Everything in Personal Injury Cases

My clients already have enough on their plates – they need to know that I am handling every aspect of their case. That means when a client calls me, I’ll either pick right up or call them right back. It’s little things like this to see how they’re doing and giving any updates that make a great experience for the client. The entire process here at Farah and Farah is about taking the burden off our clients’ shoulders so they can focus on treatment and recovery—that all starts with proactive, open communication from start to finish.

I Love Being an Attorney in My Hometown

I grew up right here in Jacksonville. It’s encouraging to see how much good you can do for the everyday people in your community and I love the fact that Farah and Farah is so big on community involvement. Together, we have an entire team of professionals all working together to make sure that every victim has a voice no matter how big the insurance company is or how much they paid for a high-priced defense attorney. My job is to level the playing field and get my clients everything they deserve.

When I’m not at the Farah and Farah office in downtown Jacksonville, it’s a strong possibility you’ll find me unwinding at the beach. We’re so lucky to have miles of beautiful beaches and I get out there every chance I get. If it happens to be college football season, it’s a sure bet I’ll be cheering on my alma mater, the Florida Gators, through every game.
