Connecting With Clients on a Human Level

Growing up in a household with other lawyers I was always fascinated by the stories my family told about their clients. While I initially studied marketing during my undergraduate years, the more I learned about the “people side” of law, the sooner I realized that this career could be the right fit for my passions.

I’ve always loved working with people. Working as an attorney gives you the opportunity to impact your clients’ lives in a direct and positive way. I can guide them through the legal process and function as part of their support system when it feels stressful.

When I saw how my parents connected with their clients on a human level, it helped me see how rewarding this field can be. Law also gives me more points of connection with my own family. We talk with each other about legal cases and get to learn and grow together along the way.

From Academia and Beyond

Some of my favorite classes in law school were about constitutional law and administrative law.  I was captivated by how our government works and the ways it affects our day-to-day operations in the world. Many laws are constantly changing, and these experiences gave me a new perspective on how even the smallest details can carry so much meaning within someone’s life.

Participating in mock trials in academic settings was another transformative moment for me. It involves a lot of minute-by-minute strategy adjustments as you evaluate the different perspectives being shared through the course of the trial.

Working as an attorney, I know how valuable it is to have the ability to adapt and communicate effectively, in both written and verbal situations.

Keep an Open Mind With Each Case

I love the team approach here at Farah & Farah. Within our Jacksonville office, I have people who are ready and willing to collaborate with me so we can give our clients the best possible outcome. We work together and learn from each other to help make our clients whole again.

With each new case, it’s important to keep an open mind and never be afraid to ask questions. No matter how many years of experience someone has, there will always be something new to learn. We have to continue evolving and adapting to not only the law, but our clients as well.

Staying Active In and Out of the Courtroom

One of the things I love to do outside of work is try new workout studios with my friends. We’ll try different cycling studios on the weekends or take a trip to Atlantic Beach. After work, you’ll often find me out on a run or walking the bridges here in Jacksonville. Staying active is therapeutic and always puts me in the right state of mind to win big for my clients.
