Meet Samuel Maroon
Sam Maroon is a personal injury attorney in Jacksonville. Before attending law school, Sam proudly served as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, where he was deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He also flew missions as a part of the relief efforts following Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina. Sam went to law school after leaving active duty but continued to serve in the reserves until retiring in 2013.
Sam spent the first half of his career as a defense attorney before deciding to come to Farah and Farah and represent accident victims. With so much leadership and practical experience, Sam is one of our firm’s top litigators – he is just the type of no-nonsense attorney you want handling your case.
I Spent 15 Years Working As a Defense Attorney, Now I See Them in Court
Having worked on the defense side for so long, I really do know their playbook and can readily anticipate everything they’ll do to try and avoid accountability in personal injury cases. Working for a defense firm, I was representing big box stores, malls, and other giant corporations. It’s so much more gratifying to represent the accident victim and use all of that experience to get the absolute maximum compensation under the law for people who really need it.
At Farah and Farah, I am a litigation attorney which means I take insurance companies all the way to court when that’s what we need to do to win your case. I have a lot of experience in this area on a wide range of cases. Auto accidents, commercial trucking, premises cases like slip and falls, dangerous products—when you’ve been through the legal process as many times as I have, you get to know what tactics to use and the right times to use them. Over the years, I’ve learned that great timing helps accomplish the very best results possible.
Chuck & Eddie Are as Genuine As They Appear in the Media
I’ve been with Farah and Farah for a while now. In fact, I can remember a time when we didn’t occupy all of the building at 10 West Adams. Since then, I have been proud to watch the firm grow across the region. After my work on the defense side, coming to Farah and Farah was like a breath of fresh air. Becoming a personal injury attorney made me feel like I’m actually helping people instead of fighting folks who need help. I kick myself sometimes for not coming over sooner but I’m grateful for my experience because it makes me that much better at fighting for my clients.
I can honestly say that Farah and Farah is the way it is because Eddie and Chuck Farah are the real deal. They are as genuine as you see on TV and they really are here doing what it takes day in and day out to score fantastic results for our clients. From their core, these men genuinely want to help. That’s a motivating force that drives all of us to protect injured people and their families.
As an experienced attorney, I’m empowered to act on my own motivations, which makes me so much bolder and more effective in working a case. This level of trust is rare at law firms, and attributes to why Farah and Farah attorneys are collectively so good at what we do.
This is My Opportunity to Help People Who Really Need Help
When an accident happens, there are physical and emotional injuries that can have ripple effects that run through you and your family’s lives. A young mom driving her kids to school gets rear ended, the insurance company says we’ll total the car and pay the Kelly Blue Book value of $1,400. Well, $1,400 doesn’t even come close to fairly representing what that car meant to the family. That was how they got to and from work, to the grocery store, and the kids to school. $1,400 can’t replace what they lost. Now we have someone who is both physically injured and emotionally being put through the ringer, worrying and stressed about what she’s going to do.
What I do here is help folks get back to a “pre-accident state”, where they don’t have to worry about what the insurance adjuster says. I use every tool at my disposal to get everything my clients deserve to be made whole again.
I Am Your Local Jacksonville Accident Attorney
I love what I do, and when I’m not busy working on my next case at Farah and Farah in Jacksonville, you can probably find me watching or participating in football. I am a referee for high school games in our area because I love the game. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my amazing wife and adult children. The original Metro Diner in San Marco is one of our favorite spots around town.
