Meet Jason Robbins
Jason Robbins is a hybrid workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney at the Melbourne office. With over 2 decades of legal experience, 10 years of which were spent in private practice, Jason truly knows how to strategize cases for maximum compensation. As a personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney, Jason is able to combine his skills in two different practice areas to help more injured people get what they deserve to be made whole again. Bottom line, if you’re injured at work, in a car accident, or just running errands, Jason Robbins is exactly the type of experienced attorney you want running your legal team.
I’ve Run an Entire Law Firm, Now I Only Run My Clients’ Cases
I spent close to a decade running my own private practice here in Melbourne. It was one of the hardest but most rewarding experiences of my life because I was in charge of every aspect of the firm. From marketing to operations, when you own your own firm, the buck stops with you. That experience was great and I helped so many deserving people in our community but at this point in my career, I love the fact that now I get to focus 100% of my energy on my client’s case.
I feel blessed to have such widespread experience through personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, taking them from the very first intake call all the way through the court battle when that’s what was necessary to get everything they deserve. I utilize this experience everyday in my current role as a hybrid accident and workers’ compensation attorney at Farah and Farah in Melbourne.
All of My Clients Have My Personal Cell Number
A huge emphasis I’ve always made is getting on my client’s level. I understand that coming to a law firm itself is a bit daunting for most people. I never want a client to feel intimidated hiring or needing an attorney so that is exactly how I practice law every day.
I make it a point to give my clients my cell phone number, email, and other contact information all right up front. If they text me, they know they’ll get a timely response. An injured person has enough on their plate and needs to feel like their questions and concerns are answered right away. They could be hurt and left fighting the insurance company or their own employer for compensation. That’s where I step in to help them get the right treatment and start the process for seeking the absolute maximum for their case.
I’ll Take The Cases Other Law Firms Can’t or Won’t
A case that will truly stick with me is one where a fruit picker working on a large commercial farm had a fatal heart attack and died while he was working in the grove. His family was devastated emotionally and financially. They’d gone to seven different attorneys at other law firms who had each turned them down before they came to me. I’m an outside of the box thinker and took the case a different way by focusing on specific OSHA guidelines. The terrible tragedy of this worker’s death could have been prevented if the grove’s managers had abided by safe guidelines for maintaining worker safety during the hot summer months.
In the end, I got the family a great result but more, I got them vindication for their loss. A family had lost a husband and father and no one seemed to care. I had other attorneys I knew question my taking the case, but I’m so glad that I did and that I was able to get them a favorable result.
It All Boils Down to Serving My Community
Philanthropy and community service are a huge aspect of my life. I serve on several different charity boards here locally that each do so much good for the community. I also sit on the Florida Governor’s 3-Member Panel for workers’ compensation healthcare administration. It’s a senate-approved volunteer position that I’ve done for a number of years now, having been appointed by then-governor, Rick Scott. I’m the only claimant’s attorney to ever serve on the committee where I help look at new legislation and advocate for workers’ rights. I love that Farah and Farah places such a huge emphasis on community service, where each and every member of the firm is encouraged to actively participate in the initiatives in their own communities where they see they can do the most good.
When I’m not busy serving my clients at the Farah and Farah office in Melbourne, you can probably catch me hanging out at the beach with my wonderful wife Tina, four kids, and our water-loving golden retriever. Satellite Beach is one of our favorite spots nearby. We also love Downtown Melbourne for all the fun little shops and restaurants to explore. If it’s during college football season, it’s a sure thing that you’ll find me cheering on my alma mater, the Florida Gators, every chance I get.
