Meet Robert S. Gunn, IV

Robert Gunn is a Jacksonville personal injury attorney at Farah and Farah. Focusing on car accidents and premises liability cases between Florida and Georgia, Robert helps clients from all walks of life get through some of the most stressful periods of their lives. Always looking to go the extra mile, Robert makes sure every aspect of the case is well-managed and serves as a steady resource for his clients every step of the way.

Dual-Barred in Florida and Georgia To Help More Victims

Even though Farah and Farah has offices throughout Florida and Georgia, not every attorney in our firm is licensed in both states. Having this in my tool belt allows me to bring my experience to bear in more cases where I’m always seeking everything my clients need presently and also what they deserve going forward.

The majority of my cases concern auto accidents, but I also take on premises liability cases which involve someone being hurt in an event like a slip and fall. When I first see accident victims after their ordeal, they are often scared, stressed, have injuries, and may have bills already racking up that they can’t pay. They’re not in this position because of something they did, but rather someone else’s negligence.

My greatest reward is seeing my clients through this stressful period and coming out the other side with the treatment they need to recover, their medical bills reduced or paid off, and the compensation they deserve to help make them feel whole again.

Endless Resources to Seek Maximum Compensation

The biggest difference about being a personal injury attorney at Farah and Farah and some of the smaller firms where I’ve worked previously, is that every member of this firm is a ready, willing and able resource. I have access to so many seasoned legal professionals willing to provide guidance or answer my questions. We truly act as a family here at Farah and Farah, which provides me with the help and support I need to move my cases forward most efficiently.

Having better resources and feeling more supported simply means I’m able to do a better job for my clients. Getting better outcomes is why so many of our clients continue to refer us to their own family and friends when they need an accident attorney.

Serving Clients and Serving My Community Go Hand-in-Hand

One of the most impactful times of my legal career was when I provided pro bono assistance to the Florida Department of Children and Families during law school. Getting to help foster children through some of the toughest times in their lives would profoundly impact what I wanted to do with my career. I’m very proud to work in a firm that continues to provide so much help to victims of child abuse. In my downtime, I’ve also worked a lot with the Quigley House in Clay County. This domestic violence and sexual assault shelter is a beacon of hope when victims need a safe place to stay.

Aside from work and volunteering, my wife and I are both native Floridians so we end up spending a lot of time at, or around, the beach. When I’m not in the Farah and Farah downtown Jacksonville office, you can probably find me restaurant-hopping at all the fun spots in Atlantic Beach or just taking my golden retriever for a long walk along the shore. If it’s football season, you can bet I’ll either be reffing a youth flag-football game at the YMCA or watching my favorite teams — the FSU Seminoles and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
