Meet Michael Quesada

Michael Quesada is a Tampa personal injury attorney at Farah and Farah. Michael has more than a decade of experience as a keen negotiator with big insurance companies. This experience helps him present the true value of the case and fight for nothing less. He is also recognized as one of the top investigating attorneys within Farah and Farah because of his knack for piecing together complex personal injury cases.

Proving My Client Deserves Every Penny

Oftentimes with personal injury and auto accident cases, as an attorney I’m negotiating with an insurance company. Negotiating for every penny requires that I demonstrate and prove the true value of the case to the other side. After years of working for big insurance companies, I know how they’re going to approach the case. This gives me a unique advantage, and informs the legal strategies I use to outmaneuver and outplay them.

Fighting that legal fight fairly but fiercely is what I do best. I put my investigative skills to use as I explore all the ins and outs of what happened. I’ll pursue every avenue I need to to put together the strongest case. Whether that’s talking with medical experts or doing in-depth legal research, going the extra mile is how I’m able to maximize what my clients receive.

Being an Attorney That Cares is Not a 9 to 5 Life

Being an attorney is not for someone looking for an office 9 to 5 life, it’s so much more. Visiting with family, going to investigate the scene of an accident, following up on new information, calling witnesses and experts to see who can contribute the most to the case, holding settlement discussions—my job is to have the facts and information I need to progress my client’s case as efficiently as possible.

Early in my litigation career, I was part of a heart wrenching case where a repeat offender killed a grandfather in a DUI accident. The family was beyond devastated. I knew that no settlement in the world would ever replace this man in their lives, but I helped them seek the compensation they needed to start picking up the pieces. It’s cases like these that cement in my mind that there’s so much more than just financial costs…there are human costs to every case. Gaining maximum compensation for all damages, be they financial or human damages, is my driving focus.

Doing What’s Right By Victims in Tampa

I grew up in Tampa Bay; I was born in St. Pete, lived in Clearwater and went to High School in Tampa!  So I’ve loved seeing how our area has grown up over the years. From Channelside to River Walk to Clearwater Beach, there’s always something to do and a crowd to make it interesting. Being an attorney in your hometown is humbling because you’re working to help members of your community. While in law school at Stetson, I received one of the top book awards for Trial Advocacy. This has served me well as an attorney who’s fully capable of taking a victim’s case all the way to trial if that’s what it takes to get them everything they deserve.

If I’m not in the Farah and Farah Tampa office, you will almost certainly find me outside either on the water or enjoying the many nature trails we have around Hillsborough. I’m also known to get a bit animated while watching my kids’ soccer games. A little passion to win never hurts!
