Meet Stephen G. Daniels

Stephen G. Daniels is a Jacksonville personal injury attorney with the Farah & Farah team at our downtown location. Fast-paced environments like working as a prosecutor in the Miami-Dade County and Duval County State Attorney’s Office have molded Stephen into the finely-tuned legal steamroller he is today.

Fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves and helping every victim stand on equal footing with corporate giants is what Stephen does best. If you’re hurt in an accident, you want a Jacksonville attorney like Stephen Daniels handling your case.

Transitioning from Criminal Law to Personal Injury

I began working as a prosecutor in Miami when I first graduated from law school. During that time, I handled some seriously challenging cases. I sharpened my skills in the courtroom and cut my teeth as an assertive communicator. After serving the Miami area for several years, I moved back to Jacksonville, where I worked in the State Attorney’s office.

As a prosecutor, I held people accountable for the crimes that they committed. The transition to personal injury has been a perfect fit. After nearly 5 years of fighting on behalf of victims for the State of Florida, I wanted to use the skills I cultivated to advocate for a different type of victim: victims of negligent drivers, careless property owners, and bully insurance companies.

That’s when I made the transition to personal injury law and began working at Farah & Farah.

Moving from criminal law to personal injury was the best decision I’ve made in my career. Now, I help victims go toe-to-toe with the biggest corporations and insurance companies. As a Jacksonville personal injury lawyer, I can use the investigative skills I developed as a prosecutor to help my clients seek the absolute maximum recovery they are due under the law.

Making the Move to Farah & Farah Has Made All the Difference

Joining the team at Farah & Farah has allowed me to flourish as an attorney. I have the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds practicing law today and am surrounded with endless resources to thrive. The team here is not only experienced and professional, but they are also friendly and welcoming. I can always count on my colleagues for helpful insight, fresh perspective, and experienced wisdom in any case.

Being a part of Farah & Farah gives me unlimited resources and a total team effort so I can do my absolute best for each and every client. No one is a number here. As a personal injury lawyer, the extensive support I have available to me is a huge benefit both to me personally and for my clients. I am honored to be a part of a team that has the same client-first mindset I have and which places such a big emphasis on active community involvement.

Digging Deeper to Find the Facts Makes Stronger Cases

One area in which I excel is exploring the details. My time in criminal law helped me hone advanced investigation skills because I had to know every detail of my cases. While criminal law is certainly different from personal injury, the investigative knack I learned comes in handy when combing through thousands of pages of insurance policies, accident reports, medical files, and more. I use intense investigative skills to uncover the smallest elements in my client’s cases that can help get us across the finish line successfully.

The details of the case can make all the difference in a case’s outcome. By taking the time to thoroughly evaluate and research every case I represent, I’m able to fight for the best outcome possible for my clients.

It’s All About Building Relationships

Over my years as an attorney, I learned the value of building bridges through relationships. I find building connections requires effective communication, being responsive and reliable, and practicing empathy. I want my clients to know that I want the best for them. The best way I know how to represent my clients is through a solid relationship built on trust and respect.

As an accident attorney, people often come to me in the middle of some of the toughest times they have ever faced. Everything feels upside down and unsettled after an injury. I aim to be an anchor for those I represent. My clients can rely on me to have open communications, to be personable and respectful of what they’re enduring, and to be 100% invested in their case from the get-go.

I Want to Fight for the People Who Can’t Fight for Themselves

Since the day I was sworn in as an attorney, this has been my mantra. The transition from criminal law to personal injury has been a perfect fit. Instead of prosecuting those that broke the law, I now represent clients injured through no fault of their own and help them receive the compensation they deserve. Every day, I help people protect their rights from corporations and insurance companies that try to take advantage of their situation. Using the law to give my clients a voice and make sure they’re heard is why I do what I do.

My Time Outside the Office Is Spent in the Community I Love

When I’m not working, I enjoy taking advantage of all the natural beauty Jacksonville has to offer. I especially relish any sport or activity involving water. Boating, fishing, swimming, walking along the beach, or any other time by the ocean will always be my go-to to relax and recharge.

I’m an avid sports fan, and you can always catch me cheering on my hometown team—the Jacksonville Jaguars (Go Jags!). Apart from football, I’m a big hockey and baseball enthusiast and always try to catch a game when possible.

I’m originally from Jacksonville and my family also lives here, so I always have a great support group around. Being from the “biggest small town in America”, I know all the best hole-in-the-wall places for some great food. I’m a total foodie, and Jacksonville is full of amazing places to grab some grub and hang out.
