Fighting for Victims Every Day Is Doing What I Love
While I was in law school, I worked at the Public Defender’s Office. There was a case I’ll never forget in which a man was wrongfully accused of first-degree murder. It was a huge case that went to trial. Throughout the process, he was adamant about his innocence and our hard work paid off with a not-guilty verdict. Seeing justice be served and helping someone who would have otherwise gone to jail for life solidified my decision to become a lawyer.
After completing law school, I was blessed to work in several different areas of the law. Those experiences helped me hone my skills and cement where I wanted to focus my legal career. I began my career working in medical malpractice on the plaintiff’s side, where I was helping people who were hurt as a result of a medical practitioner’s negligence. I loved the client interaction and just getting to be there for someone who really needed my help.
From there, I worked for two different defense firms, where my job was to help shield my clients from liability. The first firm defended auto insurance companies. The second defended workers’ compensation insurance carriers and employers when a worker was hurt on the job. Between the medical malpractice and workers’ compensation work, I developed a keen medical knowledge, which proves really useful in how I approach cases as an accident attorney.
After working with defense for several years, I knew I didn’t want to be a barrier to regular people getting the help they needed, so I made the switch back to plaintiff’s work. However, I’m forever grateful for my time on the “other side” because I know how the insurance company approaches cases, how they value them, and all the tactics they use to try to avoid responsibility after an accident.
At Farah & Farah, the company culture is completely different. We are all working towards the same goal–to help our clients. I’m helping clients who don’t know the legal system navigate their way forward. Working as a personal injury attorney, you see the human side of things, and it’s often emotional. A person’s livelihood, health, and financial well-being might all be on the line. I take that responsibility seriously.
What’s It Like Working at Farah & Farah? In One Word: Accessible
One of the first things any new attorney coming to Farah & Farah notices is how accessible the entire team is. This makes the firm a much nicer place to work.

Client Communication Is Always a Priority
An aspect of this job I truly enjoy is the one-on-one time I get with my clients. I want each client to know that I’m here for them. For many, the legal process can look like a long, scary road and they need to know what all it entails. I like to be the guiding light for them through a difficult time. Being a personal injury attorney in Jacksonville, I get to see what clients are going through, and how the accident affected their life and their loved ones’ lives.
Being present and available is so important in this area of the law. I make it a priority to be there for any questions or concerns that may come up. By nature, I’m very detail-oriented and a deep thinker. Bringing it all together, I make it my mission to try every avenue and everything in my power to get the best recovery possible.
Jacksonville Is an Amazing Place To Live, Work, and Play
I love living in Jacksonville with my wife, our daughter, and our dog, Kona. If it’s a nice weekend, you’ll almost certainly find us all out enjoying the beach. Jax Beach is one of our favorites. I also love going to local sporting events, concerts, and trying new restaurants. My wife and I enjoy finding new gems like Voodoo Brewery, which just opened up in San Marco. When it’s college football season, I’ll be rooting for my alma mater, the Florida State Seminoles. My family and I also like to volunteer, with Habitat for Humanity being such a worthwhile organization to serve with.
