Meet Catalina Rodriguez
Catalina Rodriguez is an Orlando personal injury attorney serving clients at the Farah & Farah offices off North Magnolia. Catalina has significant experience working on both the plaintiff and defense sides of insurance law. As a litigation attorney, Catalina now uses all of that firsthand knowledge of insurance policies and how the other side will respond in the courtroom to level the playing field for accident victims going up against even the biggest insurance providers.
Our Orlando Team Works Closely Together for Better Results
The structure of our Orlando office is dynamic and collaborative to ensure our clients have the best experience. I am very fortunate to be part of such a unique and motivating office. Eddie and Chuck Farah built our firm to work as a team rather than being siloed or off on our own, which allows for all cases to be reviewed by multiple professionals working closely together to strategize and bring about the best results for our clients. With a team approach, our clients benefit from our combined strengths and resources.
I Used To Defend Big Trucking Companies; Now I Fight Them in Court
I spent two and a half years working in first-party insurance disputes. This involved a lot of technical work, including policy analysis and coverage application for clients. I’ve also worked as a defense attorney for both personal injury and first-party cases. Defending trucking companies was actually one of my first experiences as an attorney. In that role, I learned firsthand all the required training for truckers, how they get tested, and how the insurance company prepares for cases with mock juries.
All that experience on both sides of insurance law molded me into a well-rounded personal injury attorney. Personal injury is about the facts of the accident and how someone’s life was altered. My time in insurance law is critical because I’m still examining insurance policies daily. I’m looking at different coverage areas to unlock and apply to maximize our client’s recovery.
I Make Communicating With Clients a Daily Priority
At Farah & Farah, we say we’re client-first because that’s exactly what we do here daily. It’s one of the best parts of working here. My career has taken some interesting turns, including working in higher education, in customer service, and even representing insurance companies. My combined experiences have taught me that helping people is a true calling.
I can make my best breakthroughs when I dig deep with my clients and find new ways to demonstrate how their lives are forever altered. When all is said and done, communicating a favorable settlement offer to my clients has to be one of the best aspects of being a Florida accident attorney. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to help even more people in our area and across the state.
Turning Insurance Companies’ “No” Into “Yes” Is What I Do Best
People from all walks of life come to me at Farah and Farah in Orlando to help them through some of their lowest points. They’ve been in an accident, are often hurt, with damage to their vehicle or personal property, and left not knowing where to turn. Adding insult to injury, when they try to go through their insurance company, they are often met with delays, underpayment, or an outright denial of their claim. Making the insurance company see the merit of your case and pointing out rightful coverage is how we turn a “no” from the insurance company into a “yes.”
Maximizing Downtime Makes Me a Better Attorney
Outside of the office, I’m an avid reader and love losing myself in a great book with my cat Ollie curled up nearby. It’s a great way to unwind! Of course, Orlando offers many new places to discover, such as coffee shops, comic book stores, and even the famous LEGO® store in Disney Springs. I’m definitely a foodie, so Park Avenue in Winter Park is one of my favorite places for all the fun shops and restaurants there.
I also enjoy hikes at places like Wekiva Springs or just relaxing at one of the many amazing beaches we take for granted here in Florida. Downtime is so important for me as an attorney, as it allows me to recharge my batteries and be ready to roll when I’m back in the office.
