Meet Glory Padgett
Glory Padgett is a personal injury attorney in Savannah. The majority of her time is spent helping car accident and slip and fall victims in Savannah and the surrounding areas. Glory is incredibly active here in our community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Savannah Chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, volunteering as a court-appointed advocate for foster children, and just getting out and around with her two pups in our beautiful city. When you’re hurt in an accident, it pays to have someone local who knows this area and the process for getting you everything you deserve to be made whole.
Farah & Farah Really Does Feel Like Family
One of my very first impressions of Farah and Farah was just how much of a family atmosphere there is here. Knowing that Eddie and Chuck are running things you kind of expect there to be some family-style camaraderie, but this law firm is truly next level for helping new attorneys feel welcomed, supported, and to fit right in. I love working in the Savannah office where we’re a close-knit team with the full support of the entire firm at our backs.
There are virtually unlimited resources for me to tap—from other top-tier legal professionals, to medical experts, to crash investigators—I have absolutely everything an accident attorney could ever want or need to seek maximum compensation in each and every case I undertake. That level of support doesn’t exist everywhere and I firmly believe that our culture and the firm’s commitment to doing what’s right by its clients are the driving forces behind our continued success.
I Worked My Way Up from Law Clerk All the Way to Practicing Attorney
Even while earning my bachelors degree at the University of Georgia I started charting a course towards being a successful attorney. I had an internship in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, interned with the Georgia Conservancy in environmental law, and started law clerking before I ever even earned my Juris Doctorate from Savannah Law School. This really gave me a head start when I graduated because I’d been exposed to so much already.
I worked in another large personal injury firm for close to three years before coming to Farah and Farah. There, I worked my way up from a law clerk all the way to practicing attorney. These early experiences definitely required a lot of work but I’m so grateful for all of it because it made me such a more well-rounded attorney.
Having such depth of experience to pull from makes me confident in the strategies I help develop for my clients’ cases to move forward. If you’ve been in a car accident or slip and fall accident in Savannah and your insurance company has told you nothing but “take it or leave it” or denied your claim altogether, come talk to me and we’ll chart a path forward together.
Seeing How My Clients Get to Use the Recovery Money is So Rewarding
I love helping people get something that without my help they likely would not have received. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is being able to hand my client their final settlement check and then getting to see how their life improves so much for the better after. I’ve seen young accident victims pay for their college education and others get training for entirely new careers with the money we were able to recover on their behalf.
It is not all about the money in this profession, but seeing how a recovery can literally turn someone’s life around after an accident makes even the tough days so worth it.
How I Spend My Time Outside the Office Makes Me a Better Attorney
When I’m not in the Farah & Farah office in Savannah, I love volunteering as a court-appointed advocate for foster children. I see my volunteer work with these kids as something truly worthwhile. I’m also very involved in the Savannah Chapter for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL). I love that Farah and Farah started an internal women’s law group led by Dalya Farah. It is more proof to me that I am absolutely in the right place to grow myself and my career as an empowered female attorney working in personal injury law.
If it’s the weekend, I love enjoying time with family out on the beautiful waters we have all around us here. My Dad’s a local boat captain so I get to enjoy this special time more than most. If it’s football season, you can bet I’ll be catching the UGA Bulldogs every chance they play along with my boyfriend and our two boxers (and best cheerleaders), Brody and Harley.
