Helping the People Who Help Jacksonville: Giving Back Through the G.O. Session Campaign

Farah & Farah donates to Here Tomorrow Jacksonville during G.O. Session with INK Factory Brewing to serve the Jacksonville community

At Farah & Farah, we believe that strong communities are built by people who look out for each other. Sometimes that means stepping in when someone needs legal help. Other times, it means supporting the people and organizations already working every day to make life better for their neighbors.

That belief was at the heart of our recent donation to Here Tomorrow Jacksonville.

Supporting Mental Health and Suicide Prevention in Jacksonville

On Wednesday, Chuck Farah presented a donation to Here Tomorrow Jacksonville on behalf of Farah & Farah and INK Factory Brewing. Here Tomorrow is a Jacksonville Beach nonprofit dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention, with a focus on making sure people know where to turn when they need support.

One donation cannot solve every mental health challenge in our community. What it can do, however, is give an organization already working on those challenges more resources to keep going. At Farah & Farah, we don’t believe that every good effort has to start with us. Sometimes, the best way to help is to stand behind people who are already doing the work.

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Garrett Opper

The donation also marked the conclusion of G.O. Session, a campaign created with INK Factory Brewing in honor of Garrett Opper. Garrett was a pillar of the Jacksonville community who served in the military and worked as both a lifeguard and a firefighter. Members of his family joined us for the check presentation.

Garrett’s roles may have been different, but they all had one thing in common: helping and protecting other people. G.O. Session carried that spirit forward by raising awareness about mental health among veterans and first responders: the communities Garrett knew through his own life of service.

What Was the G.O. Session Campaign?

G.O. Session was the campaign that brought Garrett’s story and its mental health message to the wider Jacksonville community. Farah & Farah worked with INK Factory Brewing to build the campaign around G.O. Session Hazy IPA, G.O. Stoke Water, a non-alcoholic pineapple sparkling water, and campaign merchandise.

Farah & Farah served as the exclusive sponsor of the two beverages. Proceeds from product and merchandise sales benefited Here Tomorrow, and our firm matched the donations those sales generated. This allowed community members to contribute through their purchases while Farah & Farah contributed alongside them.
