Florida man is under arrest after he crashed his vehicle into a Georgia State Patrol deputy’;s car during a police pursuit.

It happened Sunday afternoon. Theodore Thomas Wagner approached the security guard at the Bayer Corporation in Kingsland, Georgia.

He was reportedly acting erratically and said he was being chased. A short while later he actually was being chased by deputies on I-95 after attracting enough attention.

But according to deputies he refused to stop. When Wagner turned onto I-95 his vehicle struck a deputy’;s cruiser.

He was forced out of his car and arrested.  The 29-year-old Boca Raton resident was taken for a mental evaluation at the Camden Medical Center.

He is now facing charges of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, obstruction of an officer with violence among other charges. No word on why he was in Georgia.
