Raise a Glass to Veterans Month with “Alert 5” Specially Brewed IPA
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Something new is brewing in the Jacksonville area! Farah & Farah, a leading personal injury law firm in Florida and Georgia, is raising a glass to Veterans Month with the launch of Alert 5, an IPA specially brewed by Veterans United Craft Brewery. For every pour of Alert 5, Farah & Farah will donate $5 to Five STAR Veterans Center, a local nonprofit providing veterans with safe housing, supportive services, and reintegration into society.
“We’ve worked very closely with the team at Five STAR for years,” said Eddie Farah, Farah & Farah founding partner. “One day in November isn’t enough to honor veterans for their commitment and service to our country – that’s why we celebrate Veterans Month, with the opportunity to support Five STAR with Alert 5 during all of November.”
Beer for Good
Over the years Farah & Farah has used beer for good to raise and donate $342,500 to benefit the Five STAR Veterans Center. The funds have helped produce a 25% increase in first-time calls from homeless veterans seeking safe housing and services, and a capacity increase of 10 veterans. Previously, the firm supported Five STAR through the “4 the Pups, Man” beer, raising funds for Paws & Stripes, a rehabilitative program for vets & pets, launched in partnership with the Jacksonville Humane Society.
This year, the Alert 5 IPA name is inspired by the U.S. Navy readiness level in which an aircraft is ready to launch within just five minutes. Similarly, Five STAR Veterans Center is on standby, prepared to help veterans in need.
Veterans United Craft Brewery raised the bar with Alert 5 so that you can sip back and relax at your favorite bars around town.
