“One of my greatest joys is driving through a neighborhood after a storm and seeing new roofs on homes; a direct result of our advocacy,” says Andreas. Since June 2020, the department under Andreas’s leadership has secured over $22 million in total recoveries for property owners. These recoveries mean literally putting new roofs over the heads of hundreds of homeowners, showing just how tangible the impact of their work is. In the last year alone, Andreas personally accounted for $5 million of that total. For Andreas, however, the numbers are second to the people they represent.
