Is Florida a no-fault state for car accidents? My name is Khalil Farah. I’m an attorney at Farah & Farah and in Florida, we have something called P.I.P. It’s personal injury protection. It’s required on all insurance policies that are written in the state of Florida and what it means is you have $10,000 of no fault benefits for medical bills and lost wages as a result of a car crash. Now that doesn’t mean that you can’t still sue or make a claim against the other person’s insurance for additional damages on top of those $10,000.
