The Challenges & Successes of a Melbourne Workers’ Comp Case We Handled

I’ve had lots of cases in Melbourne over the years. I’ve been there 20 years and we’ve handled everything from every major employer, schoolboard cases, police officer cases. I would say one really good one I had was a police officer who was injured multiple times in the same accident. He was injured when his high-speed car chase with a suspect injured him during the car accident and then he had to fight through that pain, chased the suspect on foot and then got injured in a fight and apprehending them as well. So we had to fight that on two different fronts and they gave us a hard time as to what was related to what because you also had the motor vehicle accident case tying in there. So those insurance companies didn’t want the parts that were involved in the fight to be involved in their damages as well. So we had to ascertain all that stuff for him. We were able to get him medical care for all the different body parts that he injured.

He missed a lot of time from work and we got him paid for that and ultimately we reached an agreement and he reached a settlement on that case that was very favorable to him.
