In Georgia, can I still receive compensation even if I’m partially responsible for an accident? My name is Khalil Farah. I’m an attorney for Farah & Farah and in Georgia, you can still receive damages as long as you are not 50 percent or more responsible. So, if you’re 30 or 40 percent responsible, you can but if it’s 50/50 that means you cannot recover damages.
