Legal Troubles for Jenssen Pharmaceuticals
Jenssen Pharmaceuticals is no stranger to controversies, lawsuits, and other legal actions. The company is currently facing claims that its widely prescribed blood clot medication Xarelto (rivaroxaban) can cause severe injury and even death from excessive bleeding. Claims involved two Jenssen Pharmaceuticals products, the antipsychotic drugs Risperdal and Invega. The U.S. government has also joined a whistle blower lawsuit alleging bribes paid to Omnicare, the largest company supplying pharmaceutical drugs to American nursing homes.
