Everything We Do at Team Farah is For the Client
After working here for several years, I’ve learned that Farah and Farah has the look and feel of a small, boutique law firm with the resources of one of the Southeast’s largest law firms. This is only accomplished because Chuck and Eddie are the real deal. They are here everyday, doing the work, right alongside all of us. This means that our clients truly get the benefits of a large law firm, like medical experts and seasoned investigators on staff, coupled with an unmatched level of one-on-one attention from their attorney.
Efficiency in My Work Means Faster Resolutions For Clients
Something I am really good at as an attorney is seeing all of the little steps it takes to gain traction for each part of my client’s case. Each case is a process and has similar steps, but every case is different and requires skilled handling from an experienced attorney. I help guide my clients through all phases of litigation including depositions, hearings and mediations, converse with the defense side to move past any points of contention, and do everything in my power to always keep the process rolling towards a resolution. Sometimes the wheels of justice turn slowly, so being skilled in quickly advancing our clients’ cases can be an absolute lifesaver when someone is trying to recover after an accident.
Being a Victims Advocate in North Florida
Giving a voice against injustice comes naturally. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Journalism and Business, I attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law. In 2016, I joined Farah & Farah, where my focus became civil litigation and personal injury. I also have experience working on filing 42 U.S. Code Section 1983 claims against the state, which defends prisoners mistreated within the Florida prison and jail systems.
This experience was truly impactful as mistreated and ignored inmates very often are forced to suffer in silence. Helping the victims of car accidents, slip and falls, and other life-altering events was a natural progression for my career and I’ve never looked back.
Staying Active Professionally & Personally in My Community
Something outside of the office that’s helped build camaraderie with our team is participating in the Jacksonville Bar Association’s athletic events. Doing events like this brings us together and makes us stronger as a team. The better we are internally, the better we’ll be for our clients.
When not at work, I truly enjoy watching college and professional sports. My two favorite teams are the Kentucky Wildcats and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Traveling and spending time with my family, friends and two dogs are also two of my favorite pastimes.
