Meet Gregory A. Ream
Gregory A. Ream is a personal injury attorney in Orlando. Prior to joining our team here at Farah & Farah, Gregory was a senior trial attorney at Allstate and knows the tactics insurance companies try to employ in court. Now on the plaintiff’s side working for victims, Greg is fighting the insurance companies. If you’re being given the runaround from an insurance company after an accident, you want an attorney like Greg to stand toe-to-toe and be able to take the responsible parties to trial to fight for every penny you deserve.
I Used To Work for the Insurance Company; Now I Fight Them
As a senior trial attorney with one of the country’s biggest auto insurance companies, my job was to represent the company’s interests in legal matters. The insurance company has a long and rigid process that goes into preparing a case for trial and I did each to the very best of my ability as an attorney. But my success in that realm was never as fulfilling as I needed it to be. Spending more than four years as an Assistant Public Defender in the 20th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office gave me a feeling of helping everyday people fight a system that really is stacked against them.
In my role as a litigation attorney with Farah & Farah, I am fighting a calculated battle against an opponent I know well. Those skills I developed working for insurance companies are now used against them to get the full recovery my client’s case demands.
All of My Time Is Dedicated to Personal Injury Cases
As an accident attorney in Orlando, there really is no typical day. Whether I’m filing motions, arguing motions, attending mediations with my clients, prepping for a trial, or being in the middle of the courtroom, my role is to guide clients to the finish line. I love litigation because it gives me a chance to focus my attention on so many different moving parts at the same time. There’s definitely never a dull moment which means I’m constantly engaged. When you know the other side as well as I do, being able to spot opportunities that provide a full and fair settlement for your client’s case can mean a much faster resolution.
Serving Orlando Means More to Me Than Just Being an Attorney
In law school in South Florida, I was a Certified Legal Intern with the Public Defender’s Office and volunteered for Legal Aid Services of Collier County, an organization that provides disadvantaged people in our community with free legal services. During law school, I donated more than 332 hours of professional pro bono community service hours.
All of that experience has shaped who I am as an attorney and how I serve Orlando and other areas in Florida today. Being an attorney is more than a career – it’s an opportunity to help someone move their life forward in a positive way.
When I’m not busy working on my next case at Farah & Farah in Orlando, I really enjoy being outside and enjoying all the beautiful sights around our little slice of Florida paradise. Just being in my backyard with friends and family is my favorite way to recharge and unwind, so I’m that much sharper when I get back to the office.
