I Like Staying 3 or 4 Moves Ahead of the Defense
I am a litigation attorney which means I’m who represents you in court. I’ve handled all aspects of personal injury claims including jury trial of accidents involving motor vehicles, pedestrians, motorcycles, bicycles, slander and libel, malicious prosecution, funeral home director liability, land-owner liability claims, wrongful denial of insurance claims and many other negligence claims.
After you’ve done something for as long as I have, you tend to learn how the other side is going to plan and react to different situations the case brings. Knowing this means I can anticipate the moves of the defense and stay ahead of them so we’re always moving towards the finish line. I like having a game plan in place and seeing down the road so I’m that much more efficient throughout the process. No two days are the same and I’m always engaging multiple parties at once but I love how the legal process is fluid and, if navigated successfully, can lead to big wins for my clients.
I’ve Seen Everything From Funerals Gone Wrong To Happy Adoption Cases
Over my career, I really have seen a lot of different cases, even representing families in cases against funeral directors where there was a failure to embalm properly. In fact, these cases are incredibly scientific and require a lot of investigative work in order to learn the process and prove where things went wrong. On the flip side, when I had my own practice, easily the happiest cases I had were adoption cases. The whole courtroom is usually filled and it’s like a big celebration.
Even with all of the different cases I’ve seen, the vast majority of my career has been spent in personal injury. With Farah and Farah, we have a forever-changing and dynamic caseload. That diversity simply means I’m always learning something new that I can use to make each case that much better. I am thankful for the opportunity I have to represent victims with premises liability cases like slip and falls because frankly the cards are stacked against them as we’re facing up against the large defense teams from the big box stores, hotels, and other corporate giants. These cases can be more challenging to prove but it definitely keeps things interesting and I’m always expanding my knowledge. With the resources we have here at Farah and Farah, I’m never without everything I need to go after every penny your case is worth.
I’m also able to handle federal cases in U.S. District Court which involve cases like getting rear-ended by a USPS truck or being injured on federal property. Because I’ve effectively litigated these types of cases before, I have absolutely no fear standing toe-to-toe with the insurance defense teams of corporate giants or even the U.S. Government.
Accident in Daytona Beach? Let’s Cover All Your Options
Even though I handle cases from Palm Beach to St. Johns County, my home office is right here in beautiful Daytona Beach, FL. I’m a bit of a rarity in these parts in that I’m a native Floridian, born just a few hours away in Lakeland. Outside of the Farah and Farah Daytona office, I love spending my free time at or near the beach and preferably in the company of my wonderful wife, Anne-Marie. We have three adult children and are dedicated members of Tomoka Christian Church where we’ve served on missions locally and all over the world. If it’s football season, there’s a good chance you’ll find me watching my two favorite teams, the FSU Seminoles and Miami Dolphins, whenever they’re playing.
