Bristol Owens serves as a personal injury attorney in Fort Myers for Farah & Farah, combining his local roots with a passionate commitment to advocating for his community. His background in criminal justice, experience as an assistant public defender, and understanding of both sides of personal injury law enable him to effectively represent clients during their most challenging times.

From Eagle Scout to Legal Warrior

“Live for something or die for nothing.” This philosophy guides my approach to personal injury law. Having grown up in Southwest Florida and earned my Eagle Scout rank, I developed core values of helping others and standing up for what’s right—even when facing challenging odds. The Boy Scout principles of trustworthiness, service, and teamwork became the foundation for my professional journey. Initially, these values steered me toward a career in law enforcement, which led to my degree in Criminal Justice.

As graduation approached, I found myself at a crossroads. Upon several discussions with my family, I soon realized I could make a more significant impact as an attorney. The legal profession would give me greater freedom to choose how I could best serve my community and provide more opportunities to help people in need. This revelation led me to Ave Maria School of Law, where I discovered my true calling.

Building a Versatile Legal Foundation

My legal career began at the Public Defender’s Office, where I witnessed firsthand how proper legal representation can change lives. This experience taught me how to advocate for those facing challenging circumstances and how to navigate complex legal systems on behalf of others. Later, I gained valuable perspective working at a business law firm handling matters for CPAs and accounting firms. While corporate law wasn’t my passion, this experience equipped me with critical insights into how businesses operate and make decisions—knowledge that proves invaluable when representing personal injury clients against insurance companies.

Through conversations with law school classmates working on the insurance side of personal injury, I gained a comprehensive understanding of how cases are evaluated. Ultimately, I chose to represent individuals rather than insurance companies because my desire to help people directly aligned perfectly with personal injury advocacy.

Local Knowledge, Personal Approach

My strength lies in my natural ability to connect with clients from all walks of life. Where others might see barriers, I build bridges—finding common ground, whether through shared interests in sports or other connections that transform the attorney-client relationship into a partnership. At Farah & Farah, I’ve found a firm that mirrors my dedication to putting clients first and fighting for justice.

Recharging Lets Me Bring Warrior Energy to Work

When I’m not advocating or helping my clients through the pre-litigation process, you will find me recharging by spending time with friends, hitting the gym, and enjoying action films—maintaining the balance that allows me to bring renewed warrior energy to each case. I remain engaged with the community through the Collier County Bar Association and mentor aspiring legal minds, sharing the wisdom of my journey with the next generation of advocates.
