A lot of our attorneys at Farah and Farah and a lot of our our staff have actually worked for insurance companies and done defense work for insurance companies I did it several decades ago but I used to work for insurance companies so I became very familiar with the tactics that they will use and what we can do collectively as a firm and what we can do individually is as attorneys or paralegals we can kind of anticipate what the insurance company is going to argue and so we can prepare for that when we’re meeting with our client when we’re gathering evidence in the beginning of the case and we’re looking at the case not through the lens or the eye of what our client is looking at it but how’s an insurance company going to look at it because ultimately when we’re trying to get a case settled for a client we have to think about how is the insurance company going to evaluate the case and we’re here not only to develop the case for our clients at Farah and Farah our staff is not only committed to making sure we develop the cases the attorneys and our staff gather all of our resources to make sure that whatever the insurance company is going to throw at us we’re ready for it for example someone has an MRI examination and we look at it and see that our client has a herniated disc well we know that the client’s also got some arthritis in the spine and arguing that somebody’s injuries are from a pre-existing arthritis in the spine is something we see in every case I’ve seen it in somebody as young as 14 years old where they said she had arthritis in her spine and that was the cause of all of her injuries so we’ll have the MRI looked at and reviewed by a board certified radiologist who will sit down with us and go through the MRI level by level to see where the traumatic disc herniation are we will also meet with our clients doctors to make sure that the doctor believes that the injuries are from the crash and so that the doctor can expect the questions that will come from the insurance company attorney.
When you represent so many people like Farah and Farah and you’ve done it as long as we have we’ll never say we’ve seen everything but we’ve seen almost everything and because of that we can use that experience from the attorneys through our paralegals through our investigative staff to make sure that we are prepared for what it is the insurance company is going to defend the case with.
