Meet Tiffany Faddis

Tiffany Faddis is a passionate and dedicated Orlando personal injury attorney litigating cases out of Farah & Farah’s North Magnolia Avenue office. Tiffany brings decades of experience advocating for accident victims and their families in complex cases, especially those involving automobiles and commercial trucks. A recognized veteran in the courtroom with numerous client wins to her credit, Tiffany draws on a deep understanding of the law and a personal commitment to fighting for the underdog. Her work is guided by the core belief that every client deserves a zealous advocate who will go the distance to ensure no stone is left unturned in seeking the maximum recovery under the law.

A Calling Born From Personal Experience

My journey into personal injury law came about from a deeply personal mission within my family. When I was a child, my older brother was in a terrible car accident that left him with significant disabilities. I watched my single mother, who was an absolute warrior, fight tooth and nail against the insurance companies. They were relentless, trying to cut off his benefits and declare “maximum medical improvement” when he was still suffering. Witnessing her tireless fight and ultimate victory against the insurance giants ignited a fire in me to fight for the rights of those who have been wronged. That experience is why I became a trial lawyer and why I am so dedicated to this work.

When I was young, I didn’t know I would end up in personal injury, but I did know I wanted to be a lawyer. While I clerked in personal injury law during law school, a wise mentoring attorney gave me some great advice to gain experience on the other side of the courtroom in insurance defense. That way, I could be well-rounded and know precisely how the insurance companies approach a personal injury case.

So, once I passed the Bar, I started working as an insurance defense attorney at Liberty Mutual. I learned how insurance companies evaluate claims, set reserves, and position themselves to deny claims and pay out the least they can. It was a great experience and I excelled at protecting insureds, but after seven years of learning that side, I knew working for plaintiffs in personal injury was where I was meant to be.

I’ve Seen the Smallest Details Make the Biggest Impacts in Cases

What I love most about being a litigator is the deep dive into the details of every case, especially the medical side. The burden of proof in a personal injury case in Florida means we have to gather all of the evidence to go beyond just who is at fault. We need to be able to demonstrate life-altering injuries. A doctor’s opinion is critical to this, but when a case gets in front of a jury, they need to see the correlation between a client’s pain and the medical evidence.

My legal superpower, as I see it, is paying attention to every detail, staying organized, and being fully prepared. I help my clients understand the necessity of getting treated for their injuries so their treating physician has the whole picture. Sometimes, a client may think an injury is not that serious or that the pain will just go away and stop doing the treatment plan. But gaps in treatment can give the insurance company an opening to try to limit how much they’ll pay. I always encourage my clients to keep seeing their doctor and following their treatment plan, so that we can document every aspect of how the accident changed their lives.

To be a truly effective accident attorney, you absolutely need to understand the legal side, but you also need to know the human and medical sides of the case, too. I have a reputation among mediators and defense attorneys for being firm but reasonable. My approach is to be an honest advocate who shoots straight but will always fight to maximize a client’s recovery and never leave anything on the table.

Personal Injury Is Not for the Faint of Heart

As a personal injury attorney, you are helping victims and their families through some of the darkest times in their lives. There are injuries that last a lifetime and, in some cases, you’re helping a family grieve after losing a loved one to someone else’s negligence. Representing a family that has just lost a child is about as hard as it gets, yet it’s when accident attorneys can do the most good. As a mother, it is unbearable to imagine losing a child. You have to step up and be an advocate for the family, to do everything in your power to help bring them justice. So much more than a financial recovery, it’s about bringing them some measure of peace.

A case I’ll never forget involved a family that had just relocated from New Jersey to a small RV park in Ocala. The park was full of oak trees, and one day a large branch fell onto the family’s RV, killing their child. The property’s insurance company tried to blame outside forces and refused to do anything to help the family during this unimaginable tragedy.

After conducting a thorough investigation to find evidence that the property was poorly maintained, we drafted a lawsuit. After the insurance company faced the facts, we were finally able to secure a substantial recovery to help this grieving family. While nothing could ever bring a child back, being able to help provide that family justice and take the burden off their shoulders is why I do what I do.

Committed to Our Community & Our Profession

I believe strongly in giving back to the legal community and ensuring access to justice for all Floridians. My commitment to this cause led me to serve as President of the Florida Justice Association (FJA), the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. I’ve also been a vocal advocate for our civil justice system in Tallahassee, where I’ve testified on bills that help shape our state laws. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for the power of collective action and the importance of ensuring that our laws protect those who need it most.

When I met Eddie and Chuck Farah through the FJA, I was immediately struck by their welcoming nature and genuine commitment to helping others. The firm has a reputation for supporting lawyers’ well-being and creating a collaborative environment. I knew that at Farah & Farah, I would not only be able to continue my passion for litigation but also be a part of a firm that truly acts like a family, where we’re supporting each other, collaborating, and always ready to lend a hand. It’s a truly different experience working here from other firms, and that culture is what makes the experience so great, both for attorneys and our clients.

Life Outside the Courtroom

When I’m not busy working up my next case, I love spending time with my husband and our children, who I’m so proud of. My husband is also a trial lawyer, so it’s nice to be able to unwind with him after a busy day. I also love to cook, especially Puerto Rican food—my stepdaughter and I have even started a family tradition of playing dominoes after dinner. As a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, it’s a sure bet that you can also find me watching college football every chance I get. Around town, we love riding our bikes down to Park Avenue in Winter Park or acting like tourists at any of the many attractions we have around town.
