Meet Liz Lorenzo

Liz Lorenzo is a personal injury attorney in the Farah & Farah Fort Myers office who brings a calm, thoughtful presence to cases that often begin in chaos. She is known for keeping clients informed, answering questions with clarity, and making sure people feel supported while they focus on healing.

A Full-Circle Return to Farah & Farah

My path to becoming an attorney is closely tied to Farah & Farah. I joined the Fort Myers office in February 2020 as a receptionist and later moved into a legal assistant role. Those early years gave me a front-row view of how personal injury cases unfold and how much steady guidance can matter to someone who is hurt and unsure of what comes next.

When I left to attend law school, I still found my way back during school breaks and summers to help the team. After graduating in December 2024 and passing the bar in July, returning to Farah & Farah as an attorney felt like coming home to work I already understood and believed in.

An Analytical Approach to Personal Injury Cases

I have wanted to go into law for as long as I can remember, but what shaped me most early on was realizing that I thrive when the work pushes me. In college, I began in political science, but I could tell I needed something more demanding. I switched to economics because it required a different kind of discipline. It forced me to think analytically, pay attention to details, and get comfortable working through complex problems instead of rushing to simple answers.

That mindset carries into the way I practice law now. I like digging into the facts, spotting what matters, and asking the next question until things are clear. Personal injury cases are rarely straightforward, and I approach them the same way I approached that academic pivot: with focus, curiosity, and the willingness to do the work it takes to get it right.

Advocating for Injured People and Holding Insurers Accountable

Personal injury interested me long before I started working in the field. I first learned about it in a business law class at Stetson, and the idea stuck with me that insurance companies sell peace of mind. When something goes wrong, people deserve to receive the support they were promised. That belief continues to shape how I approach my work now.

I focus on building a strong foundation for each case while keeping clients connected to the process. I want them to understand what is happening and why it matters.

Clear Client Communication and Compassionate Support

In personal injury work, the legal steps are only part of what clients are dealing with. People come to us in one of the hardest moments of their lives. They are injured, nervous, and often overwhelmed by everything happening at once, and it’s my job to help them through it all. Even on busy days, I try to keep my focus on the person behind the file.

I place a lot of value on communication. I like checking in with clients, staying up to date on their treatment, and making sure questions get answered. I also believe in strong communication within the team because it helps us move cases forward with purpose and consistency.

Fort Myers Roots and Life Beyond the Office

Fort Myers has been home for most of my life, and being here keeps me close to the people who matter most to me. I’m grateful to practice in the community that shaped me and to have family nearby as I build my career. At home, I appreciate the simple moments most, especially sharing meals my mom made. Her vaca frita, with congris, is one of my favorites.

Outside of work, I am usually with family or friends, and I spend as much time outdoors as I can. I love the beach, and I never get tired of a good sunset. You can often find me kayaking on the Estero River, biking at Ding Darling in Sanibel, or walking at Lakes Park near the office.
