Meeting Every Challenge in the Pursuit of Justice
I’ve always been someone who thrives on challenges. In high school, I wasn’t satisfied with simply earning good grades- I graduated as Valedictorian while simultaneously completing my Associate of Arts degree. It was a single U.S. government class that first sparked my interest in the law. Around the same time, I worked at my parents’ restaurant, where I often saw local law enforcement officers gather for a quick meal before rushing out mid-bite to respond to calls. Witnessing their dedication and sense of duty inspired me to pursue a career where I could fight for justice and advocate for those who need it most.
That early spark soon became a clear path. I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science (Pre-Law) from the University of Central Florida before continuing on to the University of Florida for law school. There, I dove headfirst into hands-on experience, spending my last three semesters interning with the State Attorney’s Office, where I gained invaluable insight into trial work and the pursuit of justice.
From Prosecutor to Premises Liability Advocate
My years as a prosecutor gave me extensive courtroom and trial experience, but I wanted to make a more meaningful impact on people’s lives. That desire led me to private practice, where I handled personal injury, family law, and probate matters. In time, I realized my true passion was helping injury victims- especially those harmed by unsafe conditions in premises liability cases.
Protecting Clients Through Accountability
What I love about premises liability is the challenge and complexity in brings. These cases demand a tireless pursuit of the truth- uncovering what went wrong and how it could have been prevented. For me, it’s never just about winning a case; it’s about making sure businesses and property owners answer for the harm they’ve caused and that my client’s find the justice they deserve.
Fighting With Purpose
My greatest strength as an attorney is fighting for my clients as if I were fighting for myself. I approach every case with relentless dedication, pouring everything I have into achieving justice for my clients. I’m passionate about holding companies accountable and ensuring they prioritize safety over profits, and I’ll keep doing this work until they do.
Recharging With Family and Good Books
Outside of the courtroom, I cherish time with family, sharing laughs with my husband, spoiling my nieces and nephews, or exploring new places whenever I can. At home, my dogs keep me grounded with their unconditional love and constant reminders to slow down. I’m also an avid reader, and, unsurprisingly for a former prosecutor, suspense and thriller stories are my favorites.
