Meet Lindsey Cappola

Lindsey Cappola is a dedicated premises liability attorney at Farah & Farah’s Orlando office, committed to fighting for clients with the same relentless focus she would want for herself. Before joining Farah & Farah, Lindsey served as a prosecutor for five years, then expanded her expertise at a boutique firm handling personal injury, family law, and probate. Today, she channels that diverse legal experience into representing individuals injured due to unsafe conditions on someone else’s property. Her approach blends investigative precision with an unwavering commitment to her clients’ well-being.

Thriving on Challenge To Pursue Justice

I’ve always been the kind of person who thrives on challenges. In high school, I wasn’t content to just aim for good grades. I graduated as valedictorian while also earning my Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. However, it was a single U.S. government class that drew my interest in studying the law. Around the same time, I often saw local law enforcement officers gathered for a meal in my parents’ restaurant. I’d watch them rush out mid-meal to answer a call. Watching their dedication to their work gave me the drive to also pursue justice for those who need it most.

That early fascination turned into a clear path. I earned my degree in Political Science (Pre-Law) from the University of Central Florida and went on to the University of Florida for law school. There, I dove headfirst into hands-on experience, spending my last three semesters interning with the State Attorney’s Office.

From Prosecutor to Premises Liability Advocate

My years as a prosecutor taught me how to think strategically and anticipate the other side’s moves, but I wanted to help people more directly. That led me to private practice, where I handled personal injury, family law, and probate matters. Eventually, I realized my heart was in personal injury, and more specifically, in premises liability cases.

Protecting Clients Through Investigation

What I love about premises liability is the investigative work. These cases are more complex than auto accidents and require digging deep into what went wrong and how it could have been prevented. It’s not just about winning a case. It’s really about holding businesses and property owners accountable when they put people in danger.

One case I’ll never forget involved a young college student who was placed in student housing with a history of break-ins. He was unknowingly assigned a roommate who had been involved in previous illegal activity on the premises. When criminals returned looking for that roommate, my client was shot. He lost his voice permanently, ending his dream of a music career. Helping him and his family reinforced why I do this work.

Fighting With Purpose

My greatest strength as an attorney is fighting for my clients as if I were fighting for myself. I never want to let anything slip through the cracks, and I put everything I have into each case. I’m passionate about making sure companies prioritize safety over profits, and I’ll keep doing this work until they do.

Recharging With Family and Good Books

When I am not piecing together the details of a case, you will usually find me surrounded by family, sharing laughs with my husband, spoiling my nieces and nephews, or mapping out our next adventure. At home, my dog is my constant companion, always ready for a cuddle and a reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. I love getting lost in a good book, and, unsurprisingly for an attorney, suspense and thriller stories are my favorites.
