This Firm Cares and It Makes for a Better Client Experience
One of the very first things I noticed when I walked through the doors of Farah & Farah is that this firm cares. A lot of firms can say, “we’re a family,” but you don’t actually feel that. Here, the family feel is a significant part of the culture, and it permeates everything we do. Our firm takes the time to provide its attorneys with all the tools they need to achieve the best possible results.
Whether it’s world-class training for new attorneys or structuring our team so you always have a backup to turn to, the experience I’ve enjoyed here is unparalleled. When you invest so much in building up your team, it results in a better experience for our clients.
I Used To Work for the Insurance Companies; Now, I Fight Them for You
I have significant experience in insurance defense, where you’re working to protect a large corporation’s bottom line. The positive aspect of that experience is that I understand how the insurance company will approach a case. It gives me insight into what they’re looking for, what the insurance company wants to see, where they’ll try to fight us, and where we can work to achieve a solution. That helps me create the best strategy possible towards seeking maximum recovery for my clients.
I’ve also dealt with the insurance companies as a consumer. I also had my car stolen once and had to work with my car insurance carrier to try to achieve fair compensation. Having gone through those experiences and having worked for the insurance companies, I knew I didn’t want to be on that side. I want to help people get what they need, rather than putting more money back into a large corporation’s pockets. I love that’s what I get to do every day as a personal injury attorney in Jacksonville Beach.
The Hard Cases Have Made Me a Better Attorney
The hardest cases I’ve faced with clients are when people are badly injured with life-changing injuries. There’s one case that I’ll never forget where children had been badly injured in a car accident. These cases are raw, and they are real. Another case involved an Uber car accident with five different plaintiffs all seeking recovery. This case was incredibly complex, with five different sets of medical records and so many different moving parts. It was rewarding to achieve a fantastic outcome in pre-suit.
Details Matter To Achieve the Best Results
One of the skills I’ve learned early as a car accident attorney is that it pays to be extremely thorough. When I receive a case, I work extremely hard to ensure everything is in order and well-documented, so that if it does have to go to trial, it’s already been prepared to be as turnkey as possible. I’m an early bird who likes to go to the gym first thing and hit the day early so I can start planning my day with a list of priorities. Being thorough in my preparation and paying attention to the details helps me achieve the best possible results for my clients on a daily basis.
Life Outside of the Office Is Reserved for Sports, Serving, and Sewing
I grew up running track and playing basketball. Although I was never particularly great at basketball, I still loved the sport. In my downtime, I absolutely love watching sports, but football is by far my favorite. College football action is exciting to watch, especially my alma mater, the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). I even have an all-girls fantasy football league that’s extremely competitive. Women’s college basketball and the NBA are also high on my list, but of course, I cheer on my hometown team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, every time they play.
In addition to sporting events, I also enjoy attending concerts and am passionate about fashion. I love finding vintage clothing shops, and I even sew and make my own clothes. If I get some extra time, I head out to the beach to relax and unwind, or to the St. Johns Town Center to shop, eat, and just hang out.
Community service is important, too. My dad, a United States Marine Corps veteran, died of cancer a few years ago. Every year, my family and I try to work with a different shelter to make a donation in his honor, especially those that support veterans in need. One80 Place Shelter near my hometown in Charleston, SC, is one of our favorite places to volunteer.
