At Farah & Farah, it’s our mission to enhance the communities we live in. We’ve seen too many families tragically impacted by drunk driving. We want to be part of positive change, and in the interests of keeping our cities safe, Farah & Farah’s Safe Ride Home Program started.
For years, our law firm has helped partygoers get home safely during key holidays, like New Year’s Eve, in Jacksonville and beyond.
What Is Farah & Farah’s Safe Ride Program?
Our Safe Ride Home Program consists of vouchers with Uber and partnerships with local cab companies to give free rides to get you home safely. New Year’s Eve is one of the deadliest nights of the year when it comes to traffic accidents and we want to make sure that you can celebrate the New Year and have a safe way to get home afterward. We also offer the Safe Ride Home Program for certain city events, like the Food & Wine Festival.
Where Does the Safe Ride Program Exist?
We started the Safe Ride Home Program in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2015. Since then, we’ve expanded the program to include St. Augustine and, for the first time in 2022, Savannah. We’d like to expand the program to more cities in the future. In 2022, we gave away 2,259 total rides across those three cities. Over the lifetime of the program, we’ve given away 8,935 rides so far.
How Do I Claim My Free Ride?
Each year around New Year’s Eve, you can check our website or social media pages for signup instructions if you’re planning to celebrate in one of our Safe Ride Home Program cities.
