She consistently strives to make sure that everyday people are heard and protected under the law.

Finding My Path

My path to the legal field wasn’t straightforward. I was originally interested in a career in medicine, but I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. Soon after, I took courses in American government and legal studies, which sparked a deeper interest in law and policy. I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Central Florida, with a Pre-Law track and a minor in Legal Studies. I then received my Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, graduating in the top 25% of my class.

Fighting for the Underdog

Early in my career, I worked in insurance defense, but it didn’t take long to discover that my passion was representing individuals, not corporations. Taking a leap of faith to move into employment law helped me find a deeply personal and rewarding job in advocating for clients who often feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of their legal standing.

A standout case for me involved FMLA interference and workers’ compensation retaliation, where I helped secure a settlement for my client. Seeing the gratitude on my client’s face reminded me why I do this work. People come to us scared and unsure. I get to reassure them, guide them, and fight for their justice.

Compassion Meets Legal Insight

It’s important to me to balance deep legal knowledge with genuine compassion. I see my role as more than just a legal advisor. I want to be able to guide my clients through difficult times while giving them the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their future. My attorney “superpower” is that balance: understanding the law while staying focused on the human experience.

Always Look for the Silver Lining

I try to approach work and life with optimism and dedication. I like to keep a glass-half-full viewpoint and am always driven to be the kind of attorney who makes certain that even in the most challenging legal circumstances, my clients feel supported, seen, and, most importantly, heard.

Strength in Family and Community

At Farah & Farah’s Orlando office, I enjoy the close-knit culture of a family-owned firm paired with the strength and resources of a larger operation. I value the firm’s ability to tackle big cases while maintaining personal connections with each client.

Although I’m a longtime Orlando resident, as a Palatka native, I frequently return to my North Florida hometown to reconnect with family and my roots. When I’m not in the courtroom or strategizing casework, I prioritize spending time with my husband and son, loved ones, and of course, myself. As a North Floridian and because of my family, I’m a default Jacksonville Jaguars fan, but I also love searching out and finding new restaurants in Orlando. Domu and Crafty Crab are a couple I would highly recommend.

It’s important to me to find ways to strengthen my community. I enjoy working to raise school supplies and food for those in need. My memberships in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association also help me discover new ways to serve in my community. Whether I’m helping clients gain their confidence or supporting causes that uplift my community, I’m always working toward making a real and lasting impact.
