Meet Latasha Leak
Latasha Leak is a personal injury attorney at the Orlando office. Latasha began her law career during law school as a legal assistant at a large personal injury firm. Working her way up, she moved on to case manager before finishing law school and passing the Florida Bar. She then gained experience at a smaller practice working primarily in Social Security Disability. Going back on her roots in personal injury, Latasha came to Farah and Farah with a wealth of experience and a passion for pre-litigation, where she gets to work up a case from the very beginning.
Simply put, if you need an experienced attorney who knows the process backward and forwards, Latasha Leak is exactly who you want to call.

It’s pretty rare for anyone to say their work is fun but I truly have fun working at Farah and Farah in Orlando. Everyone here is super helpful and we welcome everyone who comes through our doors with open arms. This air of positivity is intentional and comes from the culture that Eddie and Chuck Farah started within our firm. We are client-centric, which means the client comes first in everything we do. We also work together as a team, which is rare in a firm our size. The result is an experience that the client never forgets – they get the benefit of an entire group of top-notch legal professionals all working together to get the best results.
From Legal Assistant to Case Manager to Attorney
I’m glad that I started my legal career while I was still in law school because it helped me gain a lot of on-the-job experience and get a feel for different areas of the law early on. Starting as a legal assistant with a large personal injury firm in Orlando, I was tasked with all the behind-the-scenes tasks that help make a successful case. This included helping with client communications, shared calendars, legal research and writing, billing, document management, and so much more. It was fast-paced but I was diligent in my work and quickly moved up to case manager where I helped organize and maintain case files, manage caseload requirements, monitor timelines, and everything else needed to keep a case on track.
All of this experience was invaluable when I became an attorney after passing the bar. I know how to work with every member of my team and I know each task that needs to be done because I’ve done it all myself. This helps me develop a rock-solid foundation for each case and move them forward as efficiently as possible.
I’m a Planner—It’s How I Keep Cases Always Moving Forward
I can’t heal my clients but I can make their lives a little easier in my role as an attorney. Helping is my forte and staying organized is my secret weapon. As an attorney, my day-to-day can be hectic. There are always emails, voicemails, demands that need to be written, and adjusters that need to be negotiated with. Coming up with a daily action plan helps me stay on task as we move cases forward. I’ve come to learn all the tricks of the trade, like the best time to call adjusters to get a case resolved favorably. I use all of my experience and everything I’ve learned along the way to serve my clients.
A case I’ll never forget was when I was working in social security disability. A woman had cancer and unfortunately died before her case was even heard. The woman had a daughter who was eligible for survivors’ benefits. It was a long, hard battle but eventually, I successfully got the daughter approved for these benefits. I know the mother would have been grateful knowing that her children were taken care of. Wins like these are so rewarding.
I Love Everything There Is to Do in Orlando
I’m a married, proud mother to three wonderful children and one spoiled dog. Our family loves the Orlando and Central Florida area with its beautiful beaches. We love going to all the different shops and restaurants around town or traveling to nearby spots like Melbourne if we have some extra time. I’m also a college football fanatic and will be cheering on my alma mater, the Florida Gators, every chance I get. Basketball season is reserved for watching the Golden State Warriors as often as I’m able to. In my downtime, I also love to read.
