Doing What’s Right By Victims in Jacksonville
During my time at Florida Coastal School of Law, I worked on a lot of guardianship cases involving children in Broward County. These cases were often difficult and heart-wrenching, but when you’re able to do what’s best for the kids involved, these are the cases you’ll never forget.
One case that has stuck with me involved getting children out of an abusive situation. The officer who responded to the scene actually ended up becoming the children’s foster parent and they were given a loving, supportive home. Happy endings like this one made me know I had to stand up for victims in Jacksonville.
