Farah & Farah Is Different From Those Big Corporate Law Firms

Prior to coming to Farah & Farah, I worked at a giant national law firm. While I enjoyed leading a team and the hundreds of cases I helped bring to successful conclusions for my clients, the corporate atmosphere is completely different from what we enjoy at Farah & Farah.

Even though I’m in a satellite office in Yulee, I feel very much connected to every resource I could ever need to pour into my clients’ cases. The family atmosphere Eddie and Chuck have instilled in the firm provides support and structure so that I can give 100% of my energy and focus to my clients.

My Strategy Is To Maximize What My Clients Get in Their Pockets

Having worked in both pre-litigation and litigation, I have managed cases from that very first client meeting all the way to walking out of the courtroom with a winning verdict. During my legal career, I’ve also spent time working in insurance defense. All of that experience helps me see the bigger picture where I can strategize a case knowing how all the pieces fit together and how the other side will typically react.

Leveraging my experience is all about maximizing the recovery I’m able to achieve for my clients. One aspect that can be overlooked is negotiating with medical providers. I place an emphasis on this part of the case because it means that my clients may be able to walk away from their ordeal with more money in their pockets.

Relating to Injured Clients Because I’ve Been There

Personal injury really is just that–personal–because someone’s life has been altered after an accident. Something I truly excel at as an accident attorney is being able to empathize with what my clients are going through. My time in service with the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom is something I’m very proud of but it left me with a tremendous amount of injuries, some visible, and some not. Having also served with a medical unit, I have the background to better understand what my clients are going through and the treatments that are going to actually help bring them relief.

I call this my attorney superpower because it makes what I’m fighting for all the more real. I understand that pain and I’ll fight like hell to help make things right. When a client comes to me after their life has been turned upside down after an accident and they’re hurting and scared, I like being able to be that steady hand to help guide them through the process.

Time Off Means Time Outside With My Family

The practice of law is decidedly tough and downtime is important too to really be at your best. That’s why my time away from the office generally revolves around being outside. Fun fact–I was a caddie on tour with the PGA for a time. Golf is still one of my favorite ways to unwind, so there’s a good chance you’ll find me on the links on the weekend. My family and I also really enjoy Fort Clinch State Park here locally where we can comb the beach for sharks’ teeth. With my wife, Amy, and stepson, Jhace, along with our 3 dogs and a cat who adopted us, our house is always bustling, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
