Attorney Ryan E. Thompson was born and raised in St. Simons Island, Georgia.   After completing his undergraduate degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, Ryan then went on active duty with the 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry Regiment, United States Army. During this time Ryan was deployed twice to Operation Iraqi Freedom serving as a Tank Platoon Leader and as Executive Officer of a Mechanized Infantry Company where he was awarded numerous commendations and awards, including two Bronze Star Medals.

After completing his tours of duty overseas Ryan earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating Cum Laude. Ryan proudly represents the firm's litigation clients with the same courage, dedication and tenacity that enabled him to successfully lead soldiers after 9-1-1. Additionally, Ryan's proven performance at Florida Coastal exemplifies his commitment to the firm's personal injury litigation clients. Honors at Florida Coastal included top performance in Lawyering Processes, Discovery / Depositions, Tort Actions, and Personal Injury Litigation. 

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golfing, fishing and watching the University of Georgia football team.
