Treymel graduated from Gainesville Christin Academy and will attend Middle Georgia State University this fall to study Sports Management. He volunteers at Life South Blood Center and Gainesville Christian Community School.
In five years, Treymel views himself as a college graduate, working with youth as a mentor and a coach. He wants to give back to the community just as his community gave to him making all of his dreams a reality.

What the Empowering Greatness Scholarship Means to Treymel
Receiving this scholarship is one of my greatest awards. I couldn’t participate in any of my Senior year activities due to the pandemic but receiving this scholarship has brightened my Senior year experience. During my college search, I was very nervous, being my goal of attending college was close, but the stress of paying for it was very heavy on my shoulders. Receiving this scholarship has lifted that burden from my shoulders allowing me to concentrate on my studies and helping others.
