Joshua Brown
Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University Jacksonville, FL

Joshua attends Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where he is studying Business Administration. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Chief Financiers Organization (CFO), and Student Government Association (SGA).
In the next 5 years, Joshua sees himself in one of two places. The first would be in graduate school obtaining his master’s in business administration or Sports Management. The second would be working as a Wealth Management Analyst for a major firm. He has always had a goal of working on Wall Street one day and is two years out from achieving that goal.
One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.” – Arthur Ashe
What the Empowering Greatness Scholarship Means to Joshua
Receiving this scholarship is so impactful and influential to me as I continue my collegiate career. This scholarship will allow me to be debt-free during my junior year of college and will allow me to focus on academics, extracurriculars, and career opportunities without having to worry about paying tuition for school. It is a blessing and honor to receive this award and I will make sure that I represent this year’s class of Farah & Farah scholars with the greatest and upmost potential by excelling and achieving in the classroom, in the community, and any field of human endeavor.
