Ford F-Series Recall of 100,000 Trucks

Posted on March 6, 2008

About 100,000 Fort F-Series 2008 pickup trucks are being recalled because the driver’;s seat violates standards for safety.

The company says that a weld that connects a bracket and the driver’;s seat could crack in an accident in a small number of vehicles. That violates federal seat back strength guidelines for safety.

Contact Ford if you drive a F-250 through F-550 Super Duty trucks. 87,000 are in the states while 14,000 are in Canada.

No injuries have been reported from the safety issue.

Owners should be contacted later this month about the recall or you can contact Ford at 800-392-3673.

Most of us have at one time or another been involved in an auto accident, but we often fail to realize the extent to which we are vulnerable on the road.

Faulty or recalled vehicles unfortunately can add to the injuries suffered during an accident or even cause an auto accident.

At Farah & Farah, we have seen firsthand the devastating consequences auto accidents can have on innocent victims and their families.

This is why following auto accidents, our attorneys in Jacksonville are committed to helping victims recover.#
