Florida Personal Injury Law Firm of Farah & Farah Proudly Announce Winner of 4th of July Military Hero Sweepstakes
The Fourth of July holiday is a time to honor those who serve or who have served our nation in order to protect the lives and freedom of the innocent, which is why the Jacksonville personal injury law firm of Farah & Farah teamed up with Channel 4 to honor a deserving member of our military, whether past or present, for the 4th of July holiday.
This year’s winner of the military hero sweepstakes is Sergeant First Class (SFC) Jacob Canterbury.
Military servicemen and women were nominated by Channel 4 viewers, who also voted for their top military hero. Jacob Canterbury received the top number of votes, winning him and his family a trip to Disney World.
He has been an active member of the U.S. Army for 13 years and has completed seven tours in Afghanistan; he is currently stationed as an Army Recruiter in Jacksonville, Florida.
SFC Canterbury was nominated by his wife, Amy, for his dedication, hard work and support, not only in his military career but also in his family, which includes two young children, one of which suffers from a serious medical condition.
Although he works more than 15 hours a week and is often working on weekends, he never complains and makes the time to be a good husband and father.
The personal injury lawyers at Farah & Farah are honored to present the Disney World prize to such a deserving military hero and his family!
