Farah & Farah Teams Up again with Channel 4 for Military Hero Sweepstakes

A Florida National Guard flight physician who left his own private practice behind to provide medical care in Afghanistan…

A POW who worked on the bridge over the river Kwai…

A single mother who had to leave her children behind during deployments and is now suffering from Thyroid cancer…

Florida personal injury attorneys at Farah & Farah are joining Channel 4 once again to honor military heroes on the 4th of July in a Disney World sweepstakes. Channel 4 viewers were asked to nominate deserving military members and to share pictures and stories of their heroes on the News4Jax.com website.

The nominees represent a broad cross-section of active, veteran and even deceased service members. The submissions required a picture of the nominee and a brief explanation of that person’s accomplishments, contributions, and abilities, as well as what makes that person stand out from the crowd.

This year’s nominees can be seen here.

Although the deadline for nominations has closed, viewers can vote until July 1 for their favorite military hero on the WJXT website. The hero with the most votes will win a trip for four to Disney World, including a two-night hotel stay.

The winner will be announced during the WJXT Fireworks Spectacular from 8-10 p.m. on July 4.

The law firm of Farah & Farah salutes the sacrifices made by our military heroes, both past and present, and is pleased to be teaming up once again with Channel 4 to honor them on Independence Day.
