Nicole Speer

Attorney Orlando, FL

Nicole Speer first party claims

Nicole Speer is a first-party claims attorney at the Farah and Farah Orlando office. Having spent three years in the State Attorney's Office and another year at other law firms before coming to Farah and Farah as a Case Manager, Nicole Speer possessed a great deal of experience on day one. This allowed her to hit the ground running working as a case manager. Case managers are masters in organizing every facet of the case administratively to ensure it’s being handled the way it needs to be done.

With this kind of experience under her belt, becoming a first-party claims attorney where she represents homeowners in insurance disputes was a natural next step. Now, Nicole is a force to be reckoned with when the insurance company refuses to offer a reasonable amount after a covered loss event. Whether it’s hurricane damage to your roof or a fire that destroys property, Nicole Speer is just the type of exacting professional you want making sure you get every penny your claim is worth.

At Farah & Farah, We Work Together as a Team on Everything

I absolutely love working in the Farah and Farah Orlando office. Orlando is an awesome place with so many wonderful things to see and do which is why so many people choose to live here. Every homeowner thinks they’re covered when they get homeowners insurance but the sad reality is that insurance companies routinely delay, underpay, or outright deny rightful claims.

Here in our Orlando office, we operate as a tight-knit family. We are extremely client-oriented and work together as a team on every case that comes our way. While we have a tremendous depth of talent right here in Orlando, it’s incredibly beneficial to be able to call upon the resources of the entire firm whenever we need them to go big for our clients on their cases. Whether that’s hiring the engineering experts needed to investigate structural damage to your home or water remediation specialists to help look at mold after a water intrusion, we are here to help pick up the pieces and get the job done.

From Case Manager to Practicing Attorney, I’ve Seen More than Most

After graduating UCF with a degree in Criminal Justice, I knew I wanted to go into the legal field. Even before graduating, I started as a legal intern/clerk in the State Attorney’s Office, 9th Circuit, which serves Orange and Osceola counties. The State Attorney’s Office holds offenders accountable while providing resources for victims in desperate need of justice. It also helps underprivileged children and adults in need of legal services. Working my way up from intern to Victims Advocate, I got to see where the legal system can be such a powerful force for good in our community.

Starting at Farah and Farah originally as a Case Manager, I got to put years of experience into practice in helping effectively manage the day-to-day, as well as simply seeing each case as a person. There are so many different moving parts in a case that all need to work together in tandem to get the job done expeditiously for our clients. This experience was invaluable as I moved into the role of practicing attorney. Now, I get to represent my clients from the moment they’re assigned to me and my team right through litigation if that’s what it takes to get everything they deserve.

Proud to Represent Homeowners in their Fight for Justice

One of the best aspects of my job is getting to communicate to homeowners when we have breakthroughs in their case or even just to keep them informed along the way. So often, clients are coming to us frustrated and fed up with their insurance carrier who’s giving them the runaround after a claim event. I love that my role as an insurance dispute attorney allows me to represent homeowners all across the state of Florida.

As a first-party attorney, I get to work up each case from inception to filing a lawsuit. My days are pretty much spent talking to adjusters, filing demands, and preparing everything from day one as if we’re going all the way to litigation. I’m a hybrid pre-litigation and litigation attorney which means I can take the case to court if we need to but often most cases can settle with a solid outcome before that becomes necessary.

Orlando Has Some Awesome Fishing

Sure Orlando has some fun tourist attractions but to me, the best part is the absolute abundance of natural beauty we’re surrounded by. On those rare occasions I’m not busy working up a case for my client, you can probably find me and my husband out on any of the countless lakes and ponds with fishing rods in our hands. We even love watching fishing shows but will take a break to catch the UCF Knights play football if it’s during the season.

“Nicole Speer has worked her way up in each role she has undertaken as a legal professional. That kind of grit and determination is something that simply cannot be taught. Her depth of experience in every single detail —from intake through settlement—is demonstrated in her long list of wildly successful outcomes for her clients.” – Chuck Farah, Senior Partner at Farah & Farah
