Meet Kristen Bohlman

Kristen Bohlman is a personal injury lawyer in Jacksonville. While in law school, Kristen was extremely active in Jax Legal Aid, which helps provide legal services to disadvantaged individuals in our area. She went on to graduate with honors for her pro bono work and even started her career as an attorney with this organization. The experience shaped Kristen into the attorney she is today—an accomplished professional who has an extremely high level of empathy for clients from every walk of life. When a case looks particularly challenging, Kristen Bohlman is who Farah and Farah relies on to get the job done.

Fast-Paced and Challenging is Where I Thrive

I’m an avid runner and most days I try to get in a run before work. This gives me a charge that I take with me the rest of the day as I build successful cases. Each case is unique and demanding, which requires all of my skills as an accident attorney and all of my focus to get the best outcome. I thrive in this environment, and I’ve been successful because I’m very purposeful with my time.

Every day I block out time slots that are best suited for particular tasks. After so many successful cases, I’ve learned when the best times are for certain things, like calling adjusters when they’re most likely to pick up. It’s little time savers like these that help me be as efficient as possible which means getting clients a resolution for their case that much sooner.

Attention to Details Helps Me Get More Done for Clients

Two things I’m really good at in my profession are legal writing and paying attention to detail. These skills serve me well when it comes to things like medical bill negotiations. I also love excel spreadsheets which helps me keep track of all the reductions I can get for my clients. Once I’ve tallied everything accurately, I can then articulate exactly why my client deserves every penny I’ve uncovered.

I’ve learned that presenting a solid case that’s backed up by facts and figures makes it a lot easier to get the full compensation clients deserve. That’s why I put in so much work upfront into building the best case from the start.

I’m Honored to Represent Our Men and Women in Uniform

If you live in Jacksonville, you know that this city cares deeply about supporting our area’s military. We have many active duty and retired personnel and their families that call the River City home. It’s very gratifying to see that my firm, and Eddie and Chuck in particular are such huge supporters of community organizations that support the military like Five Star Veterans Center.

I am honored to represent my active and retired military clients. One case that will always stick with me was with a female service member in our area. This veteran was extremely heroic in her fight for justice and just needed someone to say, “I believe you”. I took on this case even when there was a huge uphill battle just to get her own insurance company to pay a fair amount for her injuries. In the end, the case went all the way to litigation and our team was able to get the insurance company to pay the policy’s full limits. It was extremely humbling to have been able to help bring about such a great resolution for such a deserving individual.

If You Need Help on the Weekends, I’m Probably Already at My Desk

Because I’m so passionate about what I do, I’ll be the first to admit I spend a lot of late nights and weekends in the office. That’s because there’s always something that needs to be done for a case and a way to move it closer to a successful conclusion. I love that Farah and Farah allows me to be flexible in how I spend my time so I still get plenty of time with my husband and two kids at home.

Those times that I’m not in the Farah and Farah Jacksonville office, you can probably find my family and I outside and most likely near a beach. The beautiful maritime forests of Big Talbot Island is one of our favorite places around town. I also love college hockey so if it’s in season, you can bet I’ll be catching a University of North Dakota hockey game whenever they play.
