What True Client Advocacy Looks Like
My journey to representing plaintiffs in personal injury law was a natural evolution. After years of working within the insurance industry, I realized that my true passion lay in fighting for people who had been harmed rather than protecting the bottom line for giant corporations.
I saw firsthand how insurance companies often prioritize profits over the well-being of accident victims. This experience ignited a desire to level the playing field and ensure that my clients receive the compensation they deserve.
At Farah & Farah, I love that my job as a litigating attorney puts me in a position to truly make a difference in people’s lives. Providing compassionate and effective legal representation is both humbling and extremely fulfilling. Helping guide my clients through the complexities of the legal process and securing the best possible outcomes for their cases is what it’s all about.
Understanding What We’re Up Against
Spending more than a decade in insurance defense provides me with a unique advantage in the courtroom. I understand the tactics and strategies that insurance companies employ to minimize payouts. I know how they operate, what they look for, and how to anticipate their moves.
This insider knowledge allows me to develop effective counter-strategies, build strong cases, and negotiate aggressively on behalf of my clients. I am not afraid to go the distance, fight for every penny my clients deserve, and hold negligent parties accountable for their actions.
Not every firm does it this way, but here, we prepare every case like it’s going to trial from the very beginning. From the start, we’re looking at the end game and how we get there. That strategy brings the whole team together with a singular focus on why we’re doing what we do. We can’t un-herniate discs in someone’s back, but we always seek to make our clients as whole as humanly possible.
I’ve Taken Cases From $0 Offers to Seven Figures
The hardest cases are often the most rewarding. After more than two decades in the law, I’ve had many cases where my clients weren’t offered a dime from their insurance carrier, and we were able to recover six and seven-figure settlements for them.
For the insurance carrier, every claim represents a potential payout, which affects their profitability. For the accident victim, that case represents their entire life. It could mean a young mother left with a lifetime of pain in her neck after an accident or a family having to endure the holidays without their loved one. Personal injury is just that–extremely personal. The insurance company sees you as a number, but I see you as an individual worth fighting for.
Life Outside of the Courtroom
When I’m not busy helping Orlando clients recover from accidents, I live to travel. Marrying travel with the thrill of snowboarding, I love seeking out new challenges on slopes across the globe. Travel is a significant part of my life, with recent adventures taking me to Greece and Peru. I am also an avid soccer fan, deeply rooted in my Spanish heritage, and a passionate supporter of Real Madrid. Having lived here in Orlando for so long, I also love rooting for our local team, the Orlando City Soccer Club.
When I’m not exploring new destinations, I cherish spending time with family and friends and just getting outside. Always up for any adventure I undertake is Abby and my dog, Gunnar, a spirited bird dog who loves to join me on runs through the city, especially if they end up near a body of water where he can swim.
