Samuel A. Maroon, Attorney at Law
Sam Maroon is an attorney at Farah & Farah’s Jacksonville office. He was born in Memphis, TN, but growing up in a military family, had a mobile upbringing and lived in numerous places, such as Florida, Puerto Rico, Washington State, Japan, California, and Virginia.
Before attending law school, Mr. Maroon proudly served as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, where he was deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He also flew missions as a part of the relief efforts following Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Katrina. In 2013, he retired from the Navy Reserve as a Commander.
Mr. Maroon primarily focuses on personal injury law, where he can continue to help protect others from harm and injustice. He spent several years as a defense lawyer, where he gained valuable insight into the methods and strategies that defense firms and insurance carriers use to avoid accountability in personal injury claims.
When not practicing law, Mr. Maroon can be found spending his free time as a high school football referee, supporting the Jaguars and the Sharks, competing in RunDisney races, and traveling with his wife and children.
