This New Year’s Eve, leave the car keys at home and give Uber the night off. The cab is on us! We at Farah & Farah are helping to keep Jacksonville area residents safe on the biggest party night of the year. So, if you’re going out, let someone else do the driving. Call a cab. And, let someone else pay for it. Like us.
For the first time ever, Jacksonville residents will be able to take free cab rides on New Year’s Eve. Farah & Farah will pay for your ride—and the tip. Just give us a call at (904) 549-6434 on New Year’s Eve or visit keepjaxsafe.org to register.
Not many people know this, but Jacksonville is the largest city in the country. We don’t mean by population, but in square miles. Our city is actually bigger than New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago in size. On a night like New Year’s Eve, traveling is dangerous. The U.S. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) reports that 40% of traffic related New Year’s deaths involve drunk drivers. At Farah & Farah, we hope offering free cab rides to whoever wants them will help bring these numbers down.
Here’s how the program works: sign up now on keepjaxsafe.org and we’ll collect your contact info and will notify you by text and/or email on New Year’s Eve with a number to call for your cab ride. Or, on New Year’s Eve, give us a call at (904) 549-6434 and we’ll get a cab sent out to you. It’s that easy.
“New Year’s Eve is the busiest night of the year for cabs in Jacksonville,” said Chuck Farah. “Whether you get a cab through us or on your own, please be sure to call well in advance of your departure time so we can get a cab to you in a timely manner.”
